Your tax deductible contribution will help ensure the livelihood not only of our 375 low-income tenants, but also the hundreds of Brooklyn residents who access the many other services CGA provides to our community, such as:

  • Building power and developing leadership of Black, immigrant, women, domestic workers across NYC

  • Supporting transformative campaigns that forward racial, economic, and environmental justice in our communities.

  • Develop worker cooperative businesses where Black and immigrant women domestic workers run their own business and create their own standards

  • Provide innovative work force development trainings led by domestic workers

  • Organizing tenant associations to ensure longtime residents are not displaced in gentrifying communities

  • Computer, resume-writing, and financial literacy workshops

  • Community building events including the Annual Tree Lighting, Holiday Street Lighting, Toy Drive, and the Columbia Street Waterfront Fall Festival

  • The planning of new affordable housing in Red Hook
