Join Carroll Gardens Nanny Association in collaboration with TakeRoot Justice for an empowering Know Your Rights workshop designed for domestic workers, caregivers, and community members.

In this workshop, you’ll learn essential information about:

• Your legal rights as a domestic worker

• How to protect yourself in the workplace

• Available resources and how to access them

This is a safe and welcoming space to get informed, ask questions, and connect with others in your community.

CGNA member meetings are spaces where we connect with other domestic workers, share resources, and continue building towards our vision of raising standards and dignity in the domestic work industry! Meetings are in English and Spanish.

Working with Neurodivergent Children is a new module in partnership with Cornell University that provides caregivers with the methods and tools to learn, understand, and provide better care to our neurodivergent children. After completion, participants of the course will be able to:

• Communicate effectively with neurodivergent children and their parents

• Understand Disability Justice and recognize and challenge ableism

• Implement practical caregiving strategies for Neurodivergent Children

• Promote Strengths and Celebrate Gifts  

"Trabajando con Niños Neurodivergentes" es un nuevo módulo desarrollado en colaboración con la Universidad de Cornell. Este programa brinda a los cuidadores los métodos y herramientas necesarios para aprender, comprender y ofrecer una mejor atención a nuestros niños neurodivergentes.
Al completar el curso, los participantes serán capaces de:

• Comunicarse de manera efectiva con niños neurodivergentes y sus familias.
