Working with Neurodivergent Children is a new module in partnership with Cornell University that provides caregivers with the methods and tools to learn, understand, and provide better care to our neurodivergent children. After completion, participants of the course will be able to:
Communicate effectively with neurodivergent children and their parents
Understand Disability Justice and recognize and challenge ableism
Implement practical caregiving strategies for Neurodivergent Children
Promote Strengths and Celebrate Gifts

Join us for an empowering workshop hosted in collaboration with the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP), the Brooklyn Public Library, and Carroll Gardens Nanny Association (CGNA)!
This special event is dedicated to nannies, house cleaners, and caregivers, highlighting the rights, protections, and recognition they deserve. We’ll be joined by Commissioner Vilda Vera Mayuga, who will share vital information specifically tailored for domestic workers.

Carroll Gardens Nanny Association and the NYC Coalition for Domestic Work invite you to stand with us at City Hall on Wednesday, June 11th from 12pm to 1pm as we meet with City Councilmembers to demand support for our 2025 platform to strengthen domestic worker rights.
This is a powerful opportunity to raise our voices together and show the city that our work is essential. Let’s advocate for fair treatment, job protections, and dignity for all domestic workers.

Working with Neurodivergent Children Training

Working with Neurodivergent Children is a new module in partnership with Cornell University that provides caregivers with the methods and tools to learn, understand, and provide better care to our neurodivergent children. After completion, participants of the course will be able to:
Communicate effectively with neurodivergent children and their parents
Understand Disability Justice and recognize and challenge ableism
Implement practical caregiving strategies for Neurodivergent Children
Promote Strengths and Celebrate Gifts

"Trabajando con Niños Neurodivergentes" es un nuevo módulo desarrollado en colaboración con la Universidad de Cornell. Este programa brinda a los cuidadores los métodos y herramientas necesarios para aprender, comprender y ofrecer una mejor atención a nuestros niños neurodivergentes.
Al completar el curso, los participantes serán capaces de:
Comunicarse de manera efectiva con niños neurodivergentes y sus familias.
