Wells Fargo Housing Foundation Awards Homeownership Grant to CGA

The Wells Fargo Housing Foundation on behalf of the Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Corporation notified Carroll Gardens Association, Inc. (CGA) on Sept. 26th, 2012 that the organization will be receiving a $7,000 grant to establish a Homeownership Education and Counseling Program. The primary objectives of CGA’s Homeownership Education and Couneling Program are to improve financial literacy, improve access to affordable housing and preserve homeownership. Carroll Gardens Association, Inc. hopes to encourage low-to-moderate income residents and the minority and immigrant population in our community to have the knowledge that will allow them to maintain good credit, prepare themselves for homeownership, and learn about the programs that will allow them to transition from rental housing to homeownership.

The Board and Staff of Carroll Gardens Association, Inc. would like to thank the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation for partnering with us in helping fulfill our mission of providing affordable housing to low-and-moderate residents in Brooklyn.
