On May 1, 2014, Carroll Gardens Association, Inc. (CGA) held its 43rd Anniversary Celebration and Awards Reception at the Marco Polo Restaurant on Court Street in Brooklyn. In selecting recipients for our awards, CGA focuses on those organizations that have provided outstanding service to the neighborhoods of Southwest Brooklyn (view last year’s honorees).
We were especially excited this year to include two honorees, Brooklyn Greenway Initiative and Victoria Hagman of Realty Collective, located right down the street from our office on 201 Columbia Street.
Christopher Bramwell, President of Shinda Management Corp., accepts the Corporate Leadership Award on behalf of Richard Bramwell, Sr., Chairman of Shinda Management Corp., from CGA Board President Cynthia Gonzalez.
Meg Fellerath and Brian McCormick, co-founders of Brooklyn Greenway Initiative, accept the Public Service Award for BGI from CGA Board Vice President Michael L. Brown.
Victoria Hagman, Owner of Realty Collective, accepts the Small Business Leadership Award from CGA Executive Director Vilma Heramia.
CGA Board Treasurer Patricia Ruiz presents Jill Eisenhard, Executive Director of Red Hook Initiative, with the Public Service Award.
