CGA Launches Toy Drive for Red Hook Storm Victims

Many families in Red Hook and other low-lying areas were affected by flooding, lack of power, heat and hot water,  and property damage. Families have been affected by job loss resulting from business closures and work stoppage in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Carroll Gardens Association, Inc. is launching a Toy Drive to make the Holiday Season more meaningful for these families with children. The organization is soliciting toy donations for children of all ages.

Please drop off your toy donations (preferably new packaged toys) until December 6th, 2012 to Carroll Gardens Association, Inc., located at 201 Columbia Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231 from Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. You could also drop off your toy donations at the House of Pizza & Calzone, located at 132 Union Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231, weeknights and Saturdays and Sundays. Please call us at (718) 243-9301 for more information.
