CGA Launches Entrepreneur Assistance Program

Carroll Gardens Association, Inc. (CGA) successfully launched its Entrepreneur Assistance Program with the Business Plan Basics Workshop on September 26, 2012. CGA’s Entrepreneur Assistance Program offers resources to small businesses through workshops and one-on-one counseling with those who wish to start a business or expand an existing business. CGA Executive Director Vilma Heramia gave a brief background on the organization and the Entrepreneur Assistance Program, as well as introduced the speaker, Mr. Joseph Pellegrino, TD Bank Assistant Vice President and Small Business Relationship Manager.

Mr. Pellegrino made a presentation on Business Plan Basics to a roomful of individuals who wished to learn more about how they could start their own business or expand an existing business. A sampling of workshop attendees included professionals who wished to start or expand their private practice, caterers and food business entrepreneurs, crafters, designers, and child care providers. The presentation was followed by a question and answer portion. Workshop participants enjoyed the refreshments courtesy of TD Bank. The event was concluded by an opportunity for networking after the workshop session.

Carroll Gardens Association, Inc. would like to thank TD Bank for sponsoring the Business Plan Basics Workshop and making Mr. Pellegrino available as resource speaker.
